The Roller System consists of the following main components: Central Wash Unit • Self -supporting, robust steel construction with conical inner walls • Scraper-conveyor to evacuate and de-water the settled out solid waste • Integrated, bearing-mounted and electrically driven twin rollers, designed to take a maximum axle load of 26,500 lbs • Low maintenance, mechanical braking system • Static nozzle system for complete washing of the tire profiles, outer and inner wheel surfaces and part of the chassis • 2 vertical spray beams with adjustable nozzles • Includes entrance and exit ramps with side curtains • Overall external dimensions: 220” x 43” x 96” • Installation depth: 43” • Track width: 118”
Recycling Tank with integrated scraper-conveyor system • Heavy Duty steel construction with conical inner walls • Scraper-conveyor to evacuate and de-water the settled out solid waste • Automatic level control with overflow • Inner and outer surfaces primed and finished with a top coat • External dimensions: 220” x 43” x 120” • Total volume: 1,920 gal thereof ca. 1,160 gal useful volume
Flocculent delivery system consisting of: • Electro-mechanical dosing pump with oil-lubrication and diaphragm dosing head. • Hand-wheel for infinite variation of the feed-amount. • The flocculent is pumped directly from the original container and evenly fed into the water-system where it is optimally mixed, thus ensuring good sludge-settlement. • Stand for fitting onto the wheel-washing unit complete with a protective hood • The system requires the use of a specially manufactured, water soluble polymer to expedite the solid separation system. Three (3) five gallon pails will be delivered the equipment. More can be ordered as needed.
Technical Configuration and Data • 1 submersible Pump with an output of 7.4 HP and maximum delivery of 450 gallons/min. • Control cabinet out of stainless steel with complete electrical technology in accordance with Standard EN 60 439-1 • Photoelectric sensor in entry area • All necessary water delivery piping/channels within the unit-system • Weight of complete unit: ca. 7,000 lbs
Approach and Exits For optimum performance, the system is installed with concrete approaches and exits. The system can be used with portable steel exit and approaches for use in short term applications, or when it is not feasible to pour concrete approaches, however, the portable ramp system can not be used by low framed pedestrian vehicles. When using concrete, the customer will need to provide 10-15 yards of concrete and (4) 10 foot jersey barriers; (6) jersey barriers when using the Turbo Wash system.
Installation: DES will connect the system to the electrical and water supplies. Customer will be required to have a piece of equipment to unload the system, to have an operator on hand to dig the containment pit per the attached diagrams, and to supply the gravel needed to line the pit. Work to be performed by DES, consisting of the following • Assemble and Install System per Assembly Drawings • Includes plumbing and electrical installation • DES will train the site superintendent or the responsible person to perform the daily and weekly maintenance required for the system to run at optimum performance. Exclusions: • Hand Rails and Grating • Fencing • Excavation Customer to Provide • 40,000 lb or larger Crane or Excavator to Unload & Set Unit; Excavation and grading for the system; the tank; and the aprons; road work to tie into concrete aprons. • 100 to 150 Tons commercial base • Electrical and water service to within 5 feet of equipment • (4) 10 foot Jersey Barriers; (6) 10 foot Jersey Barriers for Mega Wash • 8 to 12 yards of concrete
Please note that the If 480 V, 3 Phase Power is not available, the base System will require a 36 KW generator.
